Ori'shan
The Rhythm Keeper
Dance us on

You change the feel of a room through voice, rhythm and movement. When you move, the whole space comes alive.

TRAITS

You might be Ori'shan if:

You can bring a stalled room back into rhythm.

STATES

When steady, and when off balance

The same way of operating is a gift when you're steady and a drain when you're off balance. Knowing which side you're on right now is where using this language begins.

When steady

Natural rhythm and fluent expression. You bring a room to life through rhythm and action; when you're there, the room is alive.

When off balance

Your body stiffens, expression gets blocked and emotions get stuck in your body. You become anxious and worn out.

The key shiftMove from controlling your body to listening to it: when the rhythm comes back, so do you.

Dance us on

Ori'sha me'len varu'tha

In rhythm, I remember how light breathes.

"When the Universe Began to Dance"

In the beginning, everything was quiet
Light flowed, wind moved, but there was no sound
In that silence the universe was like a heart without a beat

Until that moment
a golden ripple spread softly across the surface of space and time
the instant Ori'shan woke

She didn't speak; she only reached out
and tapped the air once

A sound was born:
"Dum..."

the first time the universe heard itself

She laughed and tapped again: "dum"
and between the two sounds appearedrhythm

The wind began to dance with her gestures
stars flickered at her feet like strings

She made light into melody and space into a drum
and taught time to sway along

Every time she turned, the world trembled
and every rhythm of her breath helped countless beings
find the beat that leads home

She wasn't performing; she was remembering

because she knows
Music isn't created; it already lives
in everything that is still alive

Someone asked her,
"Why are you always smiling?"

She answered,
"When I hear the light singing,
how could I not dance?"

She stepped across the galaxy and skimmed the star-winds
so that every place trapped in pain
was carried back into flow by rhythm

She exists for no particular reason
except to remind the universe:

"We're not here only to wake up. We're also here to be happy."

When her last dance ended, the whole universe was resonating
light spinning, wind laughing, fire breathing, water shining

She quietly folded her hands and whispered,
"Done. Universe, keep dancing."

She doesn't teach people how to dance
she just lets rhythm return to their hearts
